My Creative Credentials
*The journey didn’t start with confidence.
I struggled with anxiety for most of my life and spent years second-guessing myself, working a part-time job that didn’t fit and feeling like I was capable of more but didn’t know how to get there.
I followed the "sensible" route at first. I went to uni to study a degree that was meant to lead to a stable job. Instead, I was miserable.
I was crying most days and forcing myself through something that didn’t feel like me.
Eventually, I dropped out.
Some context before we get into the work.
I thought a 9–5 was the only option.
It was creative and logical at the same time. It gave me a way to use my artistic skill and problem-solving together.
At the same time, I realised if I wanted anything to change, I had to stop speaking to myself the way I had for years. I started working on my mindset properly. Daily affirmations. Catching negative self-talk. Slowly rebuilding confidence from the inside out.
I went back to study art thinking painting was the answer, but it was graphic design that clicked.
THE TURNING POINT_
During my final year at uni, my mum got sick. She passed away in 2023. She was my best friend, and losing her changed my whole life.
It made things very clear, very quickly. Life doesn’t wait until you feel ready.
There isn’t a perfect moment. If I wanted to build something for myself, I had to stop waiting.
I started my design business while still navigating grief and anxiety. I was uncomfortable posting online and didn’t feel confident sharing my work, but I started anyway.
I learned how to build a brand that does the selling for me. One that makes my value clear, attracts the right clients and means I’m not constantly explaining or convincing.
Six months later, I moved across the world and continued running my business from my laptop. by the beach.
I didn’t wait until I felt ready. I built confidence by starting.

I work with women running service-based businesses who are great at what they do, but whose brand or website isn’t reflecting it yet or supporting the life they want to build.

I built a design business from scratch by learning how to package my skills in a way that attracts clients and sells for me. It’s what gave me the flexibility to move across the world and work from my laptop by the beach. Now I share my tools and process so you can do the same.
Alongside client work, I also create education and resources for designers who want to build a business that actually supports them.
